Behind SHINE is a founder whose vision is rooted in dignity, purpose, and the belief that every girl deserves to feel seen, valued, and worthy.
Maggie Molotsi is a married mother of four, originally from Soweto and now based in the West Rand of Johannesburg. A graduate of the University of Cape Town, with further studies at Wits Business School, she built her career in Information Technology as an IT specialist, working across both public and private sectors, including the banking industry. Over the years, her work has evolved beyond systems and solutions, shaped by a deeper purpose to create meaningful impact and a life of abundance for her family and others.
SHINE With Dignity was created from a clear purpose — to restore dignity and confidence in women and young girls. Maggie recognised that something as basic as access to high-quality sanitary care can become a barrier to self-esteem, education, and opportunity, and felt compelled to be part of the solution.
SHINE is more than a product offering; it is a platform for empowerment. Through SHINE, Maggie is committed to ensuring that every girl can show up in the world with confidence, knowing she is seen, valued, and worthy — and wishes that she carries this into her adulthood.
As the founder, this mission is deeply personal. Maggie's vision is to uplift, support, and create lasting change.
